Aaron Gazzola

Aspiring media professional

Welcome to my portfolio

My name is Aaron Gazzola, and I’m a passionate, driven media professional eager to make a lasting impact in corporate, news, and sports media. Whether I’m broadcasting live athletic events, writing compelling stories, producing behind the scenes, or managing corporate marketing and communications, I take pride in embracing every role that helps me grow my expertise and make a meaningful contribution.

As a television personality for Mustang TV and Rogers TV, I’ve covered Western University athletics, the London Nationals, and local sports, developing the ability to connect with diverse audiences through both insightful analysis and dynamic storytelling. Off-camera, my work as a sports and opinion writer for the Western Gazette has allowed me to share stories across rugby, hockey, football, fencing, and campus culture. My production experience also includes supporting commercial property coverage for MLSE and coordinating set logistics, talent, and branded content for organizations such as TFC.

My passion extends beyond traditional media into corporate communications and marketing. At Bell Canada, I contributed to the Network Technology Internship program as a journalist and talent acquisition intern. I later served as a junior project manager for the Bell Fibre Optic deployment program. More recently, I’ve been an advertising ambassador for the Ivey Sports Leadership Conference and a student representative for Western University’s Communications Program open house, where I spoke to hundreds of prospective families.

This past summer, I created and launched a marketing plan for Varsity Hockey, producing promotional materials—including flyers, brochures, and social media content—that led to a 25% increase in program engagement and a 300% surge in Skating Treadmill registrations.

Currently in my final year at Western University, pursuing an Honours Specialization in Media, Information & Technoculture along with a Certificate in Digital Communications, I’m eager to embrace new opportunities in broadcasting, communications, and digital media—driven by curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
